Fire Ants is a growing problem in the Carolina's. This is in part due to the milder winters. However, recent development has also help spread the fire ant problem. Infested sod and nursery stock can also spread the problem. Fire Ants represent a serious nuisance pest. The bites on people can cause severe pain. It is not possible to eradicate fire ants.
